英语周记写法如下：
周记的写作并没有固定的格式和文体要求，可以记录一周内发生的印象最深刻的事儿，也可以是阅读书籍后的读后感和观看影片后的观后感；写周记时要注意内容真实有查考价值，语言简明扼要切忌流水账，最后要有真情实感不能“假大空”。
英语周记格式
1、记录本周的大事。不要简单地写一两句话，几件事要有一定的关联性，可以从中得到某种启示，如勤奋、进步、缺点、收获等，每件事写得详细一点，让两三件事组成一篇有主题的独立的文章。
2、写一篇记叙文。每周总有一件家庭、学校、个人生活等方面有点意思的事情，细细想来，是可以写成一篇作文的。就本周发生的一件有趣味或有意义的事情，就是在写一篇正规作文，因素要注意作文的一切要素。注意记叙文的六要素，注意中心突出，详略得当，语言生动形象。
3、写一篇议论文。流水账也不想写，记叙文又找不到素质，那就写一篇本周关注的某个话题，比如同学关系、父母观点、成长苦恼、同学中的现象，发表一下自己的看法，有理有据地写出来。这也是训练自己思维和写作能力的途径。
4、写一则读后感。每周基本上要学习课文，或是学习其他学科，其中有让自己特别有感触的文章或内容，就可以写自己的收获和感受。读后感可以是议论文，但因为作为一种学生常写的文体，不时训练一下，培养一下自己的鉴赏能力，也是不错的选择。
